Beer52, the UK’s largest beer subscription service, is to inject over £150,000 into Covid-hit craft breweries, with the launch of its third Cyberfest online beer festival. Tickets to the virtual festival, taking place over two nights on the 28 th and 29 th August, include a box of 12 hand-picked craft beers, along with two nights of brewer interviews, live entertainment, a pub quiz and a bevy of celebrity guests.

Fraser Doherty, co-founder of Beer52 said: “We started Cyberfest mainly to generate some extra business for our friends in the brewing world, many of whom have been badly hurt by Covid-19, but also because I think we all needed a bit of cheering up. The first, back in April, was a leap of faith, but they’ve gained so much momentum that we had to come back for a third, and this one is going to be bigger, better and weirder than ever.”

Beer52’s first two online festivals, held in April and June this year, were enjoyed by around 50,000 people, and demand has been high for Cyberfest to return, even as the UK’s pubs start to reopen. As before, Cyberfest 3 will be hosted by Ferment magazine editor Richard Croasdale and Beer52 legend Doug Garry. Breweries so far confirmed for Cyberfest 3 include some of the most respected names in craft beer, including Brew York, Amundsen, Vocation and O Brother Brewing.

Speaking about his involvement in the first two festivals, Bob Coggins of The White Hag said: "The White Hag has been working with Beer52 for many years, since the outset of their business. We've grown with them, and as the recent crisis kicked off, Beer 52 doubled down on the support for small breweries, organising a cyber fest that brought our breweries and our beer directly to the consumer base who support our livelihoods. That order at the pinnacle of the Covid crisis was a lifeline, and a real opportunity to grow a strong engagement with their community, educating on our brand and our beer. We look forward to paying back on that support into the future.

Discounted early-bird day tickets are available now for £34.99 (rrp. £49.99). A ‘weekender pass’ for both nights is also available for a discounted early-bird price of £64.99 (rrp. £99.99). All orders will have a £4.99 delivery cost. Tickets available at

About Beer52:

Beer52 is the world’s largest beer subscription service with over 150,000 members. They deliver a themed case of craft beers from the best microbreweries across the globe each month.

Founded back in the summer of 2013, Beer52 was inspired by a motorcycle road trip that its founder, James Brown, took with his Dad. Stopping at breweries throughout the UK and Europe along the way, he found his love of craft beer.

He set out to visit a new country every month in search of the best beers. Having now shared beers with Beer52’s members from the likes of South Africa, California, South Korea and Germany, it has become the world’s most popular beer club.
