The Venna river cuts through rolling lands covered with vineyards and cultivated fields, with its dozing flow. This idyllic landscape—for humans, as much as grapes—is where Borgo Venna began its winemaking journey in 2021. Inextricably linked with nature and this historical winemaking area, its wines reflect the generations who made these lands blossom with their passion.
Borgo Venna is part of a wider winemaking cooperative operating throughout the region, and has inherited its parent organisation’s excellent reputation for keeping the wine front and centre, for environmental responsibility, and for its ethical conduct.
Its vineyards are planted primarily with native varietals, including Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino and Passerina, but also with international grapes including Chardonnay, Merlot, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio.
