Established in 2016, Progetti Agricoli works with 1,300 mostly small farmers, working 2,800 hectares under vine. Together, these experienced farmers work with the viticulturalists and oenologists at Progetti to get the very best from every packet of land, resulting in more than five million bottles produced and sold across Italy and internationally.
Approximately one third of all Progetti’s vineyards are less than 12 years old, while 25% are more than 40 years old. Volcanic soils containing trachyte and tuff produce wines of greater complexity and structure, which are particularly suited to prolonged maceration of the skins, which further enhances their unique qualities and brings out the full character of the unique terroir.
