8 Wired’s story began on Christmas Day 2005 when Soren was gifted the classic Coopers homebrew kit by his future wife, Monique. Fast forward to 2009 when they settled in Warkworth, North of Auckland and brewed their first commercial beer. Things have moved quickly ever since and over the years, 8 Wired have created a vast award-winning range of beers and had a grand unveiling of their Barrelworks, Distillery and Tasting Room in Matakana this year.
