Lúdica Cervecería
Founded in 2013 by neighbours, Ivan García Correño and Gustavo Del Castillo, Lúdicia Cervezaría has been a stalwart of Tijuana’s beer scene ever since. Just a 40 minute drive from San Diego, it’s little surprise that Lúdicia and Baja California’s wider beer scene is heavily influenced by West Coast US breweries, and indeed the availability of hops that comes with relative proximity to the Yakima Valley. Breweries from the state of Baja California have combined their love of hops with the broader tradition of making Mexican lager to produce a category of beers known as Baja Beers, and which are hop-forward, yet deliciously crisp and refreshing.
