Williams Bros. Brewing Co
The Williams Bros. Brewing Co started life in the humble ‘Glenbrew’ homebrew shop in Glasgow, which was owned and run by brothers Scott and Bruce Williams. The story goes that in 1988 a lady of Gaelic descent visited the shop with a translation of the recipe for Williams Bros now-famous ‘Leanne Fraoch’ heather ale. She wanted help recreating a batch of the historic brew, and in exchange, she said the brothers could keep the recipe, which had been passed down through generations of her family. The rest, as they say, is history, with The Williams Bros. Brewing Co initial focus on ancient Scottish styles expanding to include high quality, easy-drinking classics, beloved by the traditional and modern craft beer drinker alike.
