Afro Caribbean Brewing Company
The Afro Caribbean Brewing Company comes from humble beginnings; the kitchen of the Banana Jam Cafe, in Cape Town, to be precise. There, friends Greg Casie and Shawn Duthies started homebrewing, eventually scaling operations up to such a size that a brick and mortar brewery of its own was required. Construction of a designated site began in 2016, and by 2016, the duo had secured a 4 hectolitre brewhouse. The rest, as they say, is history. Today, the Afro Caribbean Brewing Company employs a team of people, brews 24 different indie ales (most of which are served at the Banana Jam) and is still growing.
