Cervecería Alto Golfo

Five years before opening Alto Golfo, in 2020, brewery co-founder Francisco Durazo was operating a wood-fired pizza restaurant, where he would introduce customers to beers from local independent breweries, and was inspired by the creativity and community behind craft beer. He started attending brewing courses at the Culinary Arts School in Tijuana, and while also brewing at home. With a group of friends, he spent several years developing the vision that would eventually become Alto Golfo Brewery, a Sonora based-brewer inspired by the unique landscape and culture of the region. Today, the brewery is led by Francisco and Jesús Félix, who continue to grow the project and its presence in north-west Mexico. Alongside its regular beers, the brewery continues to create seasonal releases and welcomes visitors to its taproom, where the local craft beer community comes together.
