Tipsy Hermans Brothers
The story of the brewery starts with the two brothers, Jan and Jozef Hermans, who together founded the Brasserie Hermans Frères in 1898. Jos Hermans Jr is the original inventor of the Tipsy beer, which owes its name to his favourite horse. Over 100 years later, in 2020, Joey and Marc Hermans, grandchildren of Jos Hermans began reproducing Tipsy beer as a tribute to their grandfather.
