Gruthaus
The Gruthaus brewery is a project to resuscitate the rich local brewing history of Münster. Founded in 2013 by home brew enthusiast Philipp Overberg, the 100 % gipsy brewing company focuses on historical beer styles like Gruit, produced according to a recipe reconstructed by Overberg from documents that reach back to 1480. Other beers include at least one special local ingredient like honey, hemp or Pumpernickel bread.
